With age, the density of your bones decreases. Osteoporosis, a pathological lesion that consists in progressive bone tissue loss and increased susceptibility to fractures, has been categorised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a disease of affluence. Groups of high risk are above all the elderly people and postmenopausal women.

The most important cause of osteoporosis is the prevalence of bone resorption over the processes of bone formation. The prevalence gets stronger with age and affects women more often than men. The symptoms of osteoporosis are long bone or vertebral fractures resulting from a mild trauma that would have no consequences whatsoever for a healthy person.

A key method for delaying the processes of bone tissue loss is physical activity at a proper level and a diet rich in calcium, magnesium and vitamins (D, K and C).

In our shop, you will find a wide choice of supplements adjusted to people with an elevated risk of osteoporosis; those products will supplement deficiencies of the most necessary components and improve your bone structure.
