Probiotic bacteria ‒ a combination of 10 strains of Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, and Streptococcus bacteria species. They have a positive impact on normalizing intestinal microbiome composition, by improving the ratio of positive bacteria to pathogens.

Inulin (FOS) ‒ fructooligosaccharide, a fibre nourishing intestinal bacteria. It is present in large quantities in chicory, artichoke and topinambur (Jerusalem artichoke).

Probiotics – what are they?
To call a bacteria strain a probiotic, it needs to meet some requirements. First of all, it must have a beneficial influence on human health, confirmed by scientific research and at the same time it cannot show pathogenic activity. It also has to be resistant to the action of stomach acid and bile, as it should be able to reach the large intestine, because only there it is able to show any activity.

After reaching the place, probiotic bacteria can bind with the appropriate receptors in the intestinal epithelium. One of the positive aspects is the fight for these receptors.
