All chelates are characterised by a central ion surounded by ligands - organic molecules combined with an ion by coordinate bonds. The central ion is jammed by ligands like in pincers (from Greek "chele" – claw). As a result, the structure of these compounds is stable and resistant to external factors.

The described form of magnesium administration has a number of advantages, from which the most important one is its great capacity to absorb the chelated ion. What's more, no adverse interactions or side effects occur during the use of chelated forms of magnesium.

Magnesium deficiency – causes and symptoms
Magnesium deficiency is a very common phenomenon. It can be caused by a fast pace of life, bad eating habits, consuming too much coffee and tea (xanthines contribute to the increased urinary excretion of magnesium and its depletion in metabolic processes), smoking and alcohol abuse. General information

Magnesium (element from the group of alkaline earth metals, atomic no. 12, a chemical symbol - Mg), one of the most important health microelements, participates in the synthesis process of the disintegration of high energy compounds and processes of transformation of hydrocarbons and fats.
