Zinc (Zn) regulates a number of functions in the organism, starting with cell growth, through immune system processes, to maintaining normal cognitive functions. Moreover, it activates a large number of enzymes. Zinc’s engagement in the processes happening in the organism is so great that its deficiency leads to disorders in the nervous, muscular, endocrine, immune systems, as well as the digestive and reproductive systems.

Zinc is necessary for maintaining the normal bone structure and bone formation processes. It affects cell proliferation and differentiation and the synthesis of proteins in osteoblasts, it stimulates the synthesis of collagen and the enzyme ALP (alkaline phosphatase), engaged in the development of the bone matrix.

Methionine

General information

Exogenous methionine is an amino acid containing sulphur in its composition. It provides multi metabolism, with the indispensable help of vitamin B6.
