Magnesium phosphate - is a compound forming a single molecule with magnesium and phosphorus. In the formed combination, magnesium is responsible for energy management (supplies cells in ATP through its renewal), it is involved in protein synthesis, and activates the activity of some digestive enzymes responsible for the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats. It is the building substance that allows to maintain proper bone structure, affects the functioning of nucleic acids and chromosomes. Phosphate as a phosphorus compound, is the building substance of the skeletal system that guarantees the proper development and condition. It is a component of nucleic acids. Influences the development of brain tissue. It participates in the processes of energy (phosphorylation), essential for the synthesis of phosphocreatine. It maintains acid-base balance of the body (affecting the level of pH factor). In the sports supplementation it is part of mineralizing, vitamin-mineralizing and pre- and post-workout supplements.
