Ginkgo Biloba (ginkgo, maidenhair tree) is a plant which naturally occurs in China. Its leaves, which are harvested in the autumn, are the main raw material used in the medicinal herbal medicine.

Flavonoids, terpenoids, and proanthocyanidins contained in it, play the most important role. These compounds are responsible for i.a. smooth blood flow through the vessels. They decrease vessels permeability and improve their flexibility. The substances are able to fight free radicals, as they neutralize reactive oxygen forms.

Extract of Ginkgo biloba reduces the risk of hypoxia of brain cells, as it has an influence on the cardiovascular system. This all promotes concentration and learning processes as well as improves short-term memory in elderly people.

Ginkgo biloba extract is especially recommended as a support for treatment of people who suffer from the disorders of cerebral circulation, who experience dizziness, buzzing in the ears, decline in mental capacity, as well as those with problems at the level of peripheral vessels – blood clots, limb ischemia.

This raw material highly affects the processes of blood coagulation, so it is not recommended to use it before surgery.

In our store, we offer you a one-component supplements containing Ginkgo biloba extract and preparations with additional content of other natural ingredients which positively affect health.
