In terms of effectiveness, they can boldly compete with milk proteins – research shows that pea protein also effectively promotes the development of muscle mass. It is worth knowing that about 9% of pea protein mass falls for leucine (for comparison, leucine content in whey protein is only a little bit more higher, about 10-11%), considered a typical anabolic amino acid.
Preparations from this category are a novelty on the market, but they are worth considering if we decide to include protein supplements in the diet. They are an interesting alternative to typical whey-based nutrients. They easily dissolve, taste great, and when ready for consumption, they have a pleasant, smooth and slightly fluffy consistency.
