Broccoli (Brassica oleracea) are popular vegetables from the Brassicaceae family. They contain many substances with a broad pro-health activity, among which the leader is sulforaphane belonging to the isothiocyanate group. The therapeutic potential is also shown by glucosinolates, carotenoids and indoles. These compounds have clinically proven anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial effects. In addition, they activate enzymes responsible for detoxifying the body, accelerate the elimination of toxins from the body and help to maintain normal liver function.

Since broccoli is usually cooked before consumption, it is not possible to fully use the healthy potential of these vegetables. Moreover, the richest in sulforaphane are not broccoli flowers, but sprouts and seeds. The best solution is to reach for dietary supplements that contain broccoli sprout extract, standardized for sulforaphane content. A large selection of such preparations can be found in our store's offer.

Supplements in this category are a valued element of anti-cancer prophylaxis, which is why they are ideal for people at high risk of cancer. They are also recommended for people exposed to frequent contact with toxic substances (smokers, residents of large cities, people abusing pharmacological agents or alcohol).
