Zinc (chemical element from transition group 12) belongs to the trace elements, it helps maintain acid-base balance of the body, protein, energy, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. It prevents the development of neurological disorders associated with ageing, for use in prevention of cancer, inhibiting the glycosylation and carbonylation processes. Maintains acid-base balance in the muscle tissue contributing to the increase in exercise capacity. It has an impact on the nitrogen metabolism.
