An effective formula facilitating sleep. The product is a multi-ingredient blend in ideally selected proportions. 1 capsule taken around 30 minutes before sleep should be enough to feel the positive effects of the preparation: relaxation, quietening and improvement of sleep quality. Thanks to regular supplementation, we fall asleep faster and wake up fresh, full of energy and positive attitude to life. I recommend it to those who live in continuous stress and under huge pressure, who have problems with falling asleep and complain about “racing thoughts” that inhibit sleep and does not allow to quieten in the evening. The preparation contains a few ingredients working synergistically, in optimally composed doses, therefore the suggested dose should not be exceeded.

GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) is an amino acid neurotransmitter fulfilling the role of suppressing, of which precursor is the glutamate (neurotransmitter) excitatory neurotransmitter. Reduces psychophysical tension and cortisol levels, enhances the synthesis of growth hormone having anti-catabolic and regenerating properties. Higher need for GABA by the organism occurs with overtraining, mental exhaustion of the body (stress, depression). Supplementation sports and for physically active people recommended after and during intense exercise. GABA is available in the form of mono-preparation supplement and multicomponent formulations to support the regeneration of the night regenerateion and relaxation of the nervous system.
Dosage: 0,5-3g daily approx. 1 hour before bedtime (single dose, customarily in supplementation).
L-DOPA - an amino acid, commonly called Levodopa, enantiomer of L-dihydroxyphenylalanine, belonging to the group of catecholamines. It is present in the human organism on the pathway of adrenaline biosynthesis. It is produced from tyrosine and is a precursor for subsequent reactions of compounds produced in this chain - dopamine, noradrenaline and adrenaline.
Thanks to the ability to cross blood-brain barrier, it is an incredibly effective supplement as for the promotion of cognitive functions and emotional states. It is conducive to the synthesis of dopamine and therefore it promotes its concentration and effectiveness in the organism. In this way, it positively influences the level of motivation and well-being. Due to the presence of dopamine in the extrapyramidal system, where it is responsible for neuromotor coordination, it is used in the therapy of Parkinson’s disease (the etiology of which consists in disturbing the synthesis of this neurotransmitter).
More globally, supplementation with levodopa may be conducive to the synthesis of subsequent catecholamines on the pathway of their biosynthesis, i.e. noradrenaline and final adrenaline. Therefore, it may demonstrate a stimulating effect.
Supplementation with L-DOPA also positively influences the secretion of testosterone and the human growth hormone. Due to its wide effectiveness in the organism, it may be also effectively used in order to promote sexual functions in men.
Tryptophan is one of the nine essential amino acids that require high protein food consumption, mono-preparation supplements tryptophan, an amino acid type and EAA-day nutrients and protein, which is essential in the process of protein synthesis. A derivative of 5-HTP in the decarboxylation is a precursor of serotonin ((tissue hormone having an effect on blood pressure and peristalsis), and the subsequent processes of melatonin (the hormone sleep). It is used for synthesis of nicotinic acid (niacin, known as vitamin PP). The due to the appetite suppressant is also used in certain weight loss formulations.
Even a small deficiency is dangerous for the course of many physiological processes, can cause the nervous system deterioration of mood, insomnia, and disturbances in the digestive process. Tryptophan deficiency in the long term leads to depression and neurological disorders.
Mono-preparation supplements of tryptophan are recommended as a means of reducing the stress and reducing the feeling of insomnia. A part of the nutritional supplements type of EAA and all-day aminoacids, it is a valuable component of protein supplements. Available in store www.muscle-zone.pl
Doses recommended in supplementation: 500 - 2000 mg at bedtime, alternatively 500 - 1000 mg before meals.
Picamilon is a chemical substance resulting from the combination of molecules of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is an inhibiting neurotransmitter, made of glutamate (neurotransmitter excitation) with vitamin PP [niacin (soluble liquid) nicotinamide] GABA reduces psychophysical tension and enhances the synthesis of growth hormone. Vitamin PP belongs to the group of vitamin B. It is used in interaction with vitamins B1, B2 and B6 in the synthesis of hormones during lactation. It provides proper functioning of the brain and nervous system. It is helpful in inflammatory conditions of the skin. Required for synthesis of sex hormones, estrogen, testosterone, cortisone, and insulin. It does not lose its properties during manufacturing and storage. By combining GABA with niacin (first study of the formula was made in the Soviet Union [now Russia] in 1969). The formula affects the enhancing of the nervous system, improves concentration and memory, exceeds the blood-brain barrier, where there is a re-synthesis on the partial components. In the sports supplementation the supplement is used rarely.
Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is an herbal plant (a perennial plant growing wild or cultivated), the mediacal raw material is valerian root (Radix Valerianae) and its rhizome (Rhizoma Valerianae cum radicibus), rich in various active ingredients: flavonoids (hesperidin, 6-methylapigenin ), terpenes (pinene, felandren), monoterpenes diterpenes, sesquiterpenes (valerenal, maaliol) glycoside triterpenoid, monoterpenoid alkaloids, essential oils, organic acids, phenols and alcohols, and mineral salts, sedating (improving the quality of sleep), antispasmodics, antiepileptic and mildly psychotropic, do not cause side effects. In the sports supplementation used in preparations to facilitate sleep and to facilitate night recovery (growth hormone booster) available at www.muscle-zone.pl
Dosage:. Depending on the type of raw material
L-glutamine - amino acid building endogenous proteins, glutamic acid amide. In the human body it is responsible for the synthesis of proteins, acid-base balance and removing ammonia outside of the organism. With the shortage of energy taken from the muscle tissue, glutamine with alanine participate in the process of gluconeogenesis, and participate in the production of glucose substrate. L-glutamine has a direct impact on the proper functioning of the digestive system and immunity of the organism. Participates in the synthesis of one of the most powerful antioxidant - glutathione. It has anti-catabolic potential. It is found naturally in foods of animal and vegetable origin and high protein supplements. Used as mono-preparation or multi-component amino-acid supplements and supplements enhancing biological recovery after exercises, often in combination with BCAA.
Dosage: 5-20 g per day (portioned during the day, and after training and waking up). The minimum dose used in supplementation is 2-15g per 1 serving.
Sulbutiamine – a syntetic derivative of vitamin B1, characterised by much higher absorption. It can penetrate biological membranes and cross the blood-brain barrier. According to studies, it shows neuroprotective properties (improves cognitive functions, mainly creativity, motivation and memory) and has health-promoting effects.
Due to its ability to penetrate the brain, it may increase levels of thiamine (to which it is metabolised). This influences greatly the modulation of neurotransmitters (as reported by studies, it increases the amount of dopamine receptors in the brain and is an important cofactor in acetylcholine synthesis) and neurons. Its nootropic effect is connected with the stimulation of metabolism in the central nervous system.
According to some sources, sulbutiamine may be effective also in individuals with different states of anxiety and depression. It has probably the ability to boost confidence and reduce inhibitions in persons with depressive disorders.
Sulbutiamine may be used successfully by athletes. As stated by scientists, it helps increase the body’s endurance, reduce time needed for recovery and boost energy required for physical activity. It may probably speed up blood flow and increase oxygenation levels.
Melatonin - resulting in the largest quantities in the pineal gland pinealocytes - indoleamine, naturally synthesized using N-acetylserotonin created previously with serotonin. Its characteristics manifested by interacting with melatonin receptors MT1, MT2 and MT3 and nuclear receptors. Affecting the operation of the biological clock, it regulates the processes occurring both in the diurnal, and long-term cycle, e.g. annually. It gives the body a signal to sleep. In preparing for the night's rest, system reduces the temperature of the body, lowers blood pressure, slows digestion and adjusts the rate of biochemical changes. Improves mood and attitude to life after a good night's sleep. It has a significant impact on the discharge of hormones of the hypothalamus, pituitary and gonads, particularly follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing (LH), this is reflected in the normalization of reproductive performance. By reducing the expression of ERa, inhibiting the association of estradiol ER-ERE for DNA, and reducing aromatase activity, shows an anti-estrogen action Optimizing growth hormone and cortisol levels, improves night renewal system, the growth of the desired structures and burning of excessive body fat.
5-Methoxytryptamine - a compound naturally occurring in the human organism. Enriched in one acetyl group, it creates a hormone melatonin and it is structurally similar to serotonin. It is also known as mexamine.
Biological activity of 5-metoxytryptamine should be considered due to its structural similarity to serotonin. It is an agonist of serotonin receptors 5-HT1, 5-HT2, 5-HT4, 5-HT6 and 5-HT7. Because of this, it has stimulating influence on the functioning of the organism and increases the level of cyclic adenosine monophosphate in cells. Thanks to this, it stimulates metabolism and increases the effectiveness of stimulating catecholamines. Because of this activity, it is used in fat burners in order to maximize the pace of weight loss.
Some source also suggest the ability of 5-methoxytryptamine to promote cognitive functions.
Galantamine is an alkaloid of natural origin, obtained from bulbs of snowdrops, easily crossing blood-brain barrier and having the ability to reversibly inhibit acetylcholinesterase.
According to the cholinergic hypothesis, currently considered the most probable, Alzheimer's disease is caused by disorders of the cholinergic system. Decreased amount of acetylcholine is also observed. On the basis of this phenomenon, galantamine is applied to patients with Alzheimer’s-type torpor as a medicine.
The mechanism of activity of galantamine is based on increasing the level of acetylcholine - a neurotransmitter taking part in nerve impulse transmission, both in the central and peripheral nervous system. By blocking the enzyme which breaks it down, i.e. acetylcholinesterase (AChE), the increase of the concentration of acetylcholine in the brain takes place.
As an ingredient of dietary supplements, galantamine finds application as a nootropic substance, optimizing cognitive abilities, sharpening senses, improving memory, attention and motivation. Moreover, it is distinguished by a relaxing effect, thanks to which it works well when applied in the evening, facilitating deep and high-quality sleep.
