ProbioBalance by Aliness® Bifidobacterium Balance is a dietary supplement containing 5 selected bacterial strains of the Bifidobacteriumfamily , a prebiotic (Fibregum™ Bio LAW polysaccharide) and plantain extract. One capsule contains 10 billion microencapsulated bacteria. Patented manufacturing method
The formula was made using an innovative, patented microencapsulation method, which involves surrounding each bacterial cell with a double lipid layer. Lactic acid bacilli of the genus Bifidobacterium naturally reside in the human digestive tract. In a healthy body, they constitute the dominant microflora (along with bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus). The presence of these bacteria in the intestines protects against excessive proliferation of pathogens (including strains of E.coli, Salmonella) as a result of blocking sites in the intestinal epithelium, producing compounds that inhibit their growth and strengthening the intestinal barrier.

Fibregum™ polysaccharide is a soluble acacia fiber that acts as a prebiotic. Fiber is not digested or absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, but undergoes bacterial fermentation in the large intestine. Fermentation produces valuable compounds that play an energetic role for the intestinal microflora bacteria and regulate intestinal function. In terms of structure, Fibregum™ is a large polysaccharide, making it relatively long and slow to ferment. Therefore, unlike the popular inulin, it does not cause unpleasant digestive discomfort.
Lanceolateplantain (Plantago lanceolata) is a perennial herb whose raw material is the leaf, which contains, among other things, iridoid glycosides, water-soluble mucilaginous polysaccharides, flavonoids and silicon compounds. The extract of plantain stimulates the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora and promotes the maintenance of normal intestinal function.
