Noctua Noctabiom is a dietary supplement containing a combination of two soluble fibers: partially hydrolyzed guar gum Sunfiber® and arabinogalactan from larch. High content of dietary fiber. The product is intended for adults.
A mix of two types of fiber
Two sources of soluble dietary fiber are included in this product. Recommendations for fiber intake by healthy adults indicate about 25-30 g each day. How is your diet? PHGG Sunfiber®
PHGG stands for partially hydrolyzed guar gum. You may associate guar gum as a food additive. Perhaps you even have it in your kitchen? It is often used to thicken the texture of foods. It is a natural product extracted from guar beans, a plant in the bean family.
While it is an interesting source of fiber, in the form in which it is used in the kitchen, it is not used as a supplement. Sunfiber® is a source of fiber in a much friendlier form that works well for supplementing fiber in the diet. It is guar gum, which has undergone partial hydrolysis. This makes the fiber molecules smaller. Partial hydrolysis allows better utilization of the fiber, while changing the technological properties of the powder. Hydrolyzed guar gum loses its gelling properties, dissolves very well in water and allows to obtain a solution with a consistency ideal for drinking.
Arabinogalactan from larch
This is a natural polysaccharide extracted from American larch. Arabinogalactan consists of two simple sugars: arabinose and galactose, combined in a ratio of 1:6. In the small intestine it is not digested and travels unchanged all the way to the large intestine, where it undergoes fermentation.
No technological additives
