Sanprobi 4 Enteric is a multi-strain probiotic formula containing 4 strains of bacteria with proven activity - Lactococcus lactis Rosell ® 1058, Lactobacillus casei Rosell ® 215, Lactobacillus helveticus Rosell ® 52 and Bifidobacterium bifidum Rosell ® 71.

Each of the aforementioned strains has been registered and deposited at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, and is approved for use in the European Union, Canada and Australia. The strains in the product have also been successfully tested for antibiotic resistance. The safety of the product has been confirmed in both adults and children.

The product has a hepato-protective effect, regulates intestinal function, strengthens immunity, and can act as a shield during and after antibiotic therapy. Thanks to the DRcaps®formula, the capsules are resistant to hydrochloric acid and are only dissolved in the intestines. This makes it possible to achieve the highest possible number of bacteria at the target site.

Lactobacillus helveticusRosell®52 (original name Lactobacillus acidophilus) has the ability to produce special surface proteins that limit the adhesion of pathogenic microorganisms to the intestinal epithelium. In addition, it supports the immune response and inhibits the growth of certain pathogenic bacteria.

Lactobacillus casei Rosell®215 - A strain that occurs naturally in the intestinal microflora. It has the ability to resist the acidic environment of the stomach and bile salts, so it reaches the intestines, exhibiting probiotic effects. In addition, it supports digestion and (along with other strains), may reduce the risk of postoperative infections.

Bifidobacterium bifidum Rosell®71 - like the other strains mentioned, competes with pathogenic bacteria, reduces their proliferation, and helps maintain a proper immune response.

Lactococcus lactisRosell®1058 has a beneficial effect on intestinal transit, has a hepatoprotective effect and reduces the growth of pathogens.

Microflora and liver health
Nowadays, much is said about the multidirectional effects of probiotics on the proper functioning of the entire body. However, the hepatoprotective effect of bacterial strains and the close relationship that occurs in the gut-blood-hepatic axis are rarely emphasized. As it turns out, imbalances in the intestinal microflora, negatively affecting the intestinal barrier, can also contribute to pathological changes in the liver (especially non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis).

Factors that promote this phenomenon include the penetration of pathogenic organisms and their toxins and antigens into the portal system, the production of free fatty acids with lipogenesis-stimulating effects, or increased activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the intestinal-hepatic circulation.

The strains in the product effectively adhere to the intestinalepitheliumand compete with pathogenic microorganisms (Lactobacillus helveticus Rosell®52 and Bifidobacterium bifidum Rosell®71 inhibit the adhesion of E. coli to the intestinal epithelium). In addition, they limit the growth of certain bacteria (including S. aureus, L. monocytogenes, C. perfringens or B. cereus), as well as have anti-inflammatory effects and influence the composition and metabolism of bile salts.

Optimal functioning of the gastrointestinal tract
Probiotic therapy can help reduce digestive and absorption disorders and gastrointestinal complaints. It has been observed that supplementation with strains present in a probiotic helped eliminate symptoms accompanying IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), as well as reduced the risk of stress-related diarrhea.

In addition, some of the strains (e.g. Lactococcus lactis Rosell®1058, Lactobacillus casei Rosell®215) produce enzymes that break down lactose (β-galactosidase) and starch (α-glucosidase), so they can effectively aid digestion and relieve bloating.

Supporting the immune system
Bacterial flora also play an important role in keeping the immune response in check. Taking oral probiotic preparations has been shown to have a modulating effect on immune mechanisms. It has been observed that the strains contained in the formula can reduce the risk of gastrointestinal and upper respiratory tract infections (including in children).

In summary, Sanprobi 4 Entericis a specialized product containing 4 selected strains of probiotic bacteria. The product helps maintain the normal composition of the intestinal microflora, relieves digestive complaints and supports the immune response. In addition, thanks to the hepatoprotective properties of the pre-selected strains, the probiotic can also be used as an auxiliary for liver disorders.
