Bifidobacterium bifidum is a Gram-positive bacteria strain of the Bifidobacterium genus. It is non-motile, anaerobic and rod-shaped. In the human body system, it is present mainly in the large intestine, but also in the final parts of the small intestine, vagina and mother’s milk.
