Arginine

The most famous feature of arginine is synthesis of nitric oxide - vasodilator substance that adds flexibility to the structure of blood vessels, contributing to a more efficient and faster transport of nutrients and oxygen to the working cells and removing toxic metabolites, that inhibit the metabolic processes. But arginine supplementation means also a number of other interesting properties. One of them is shortening the time required for the regeneration of damaged cells and speeding-up all processes which repair damaged structures (especially after injuries). Arginine can also be an effective weapon in the fight against high blood pressure and a means of supporting the functioning of the immune system. Regular supplementation will also help to raise levels of hGH and insulin - the most powerful anabolic hormones.
